HOLINESS, HONOR, AND YOUR BODY

                                                          1 Thessalonians 3:11-4:8

 

 

1.         The setting for the instruction

 

a.         “I am a person.”

 

b.         “I am loved.”

 

c.         “I am accountable.”

 

2.         The reasoning in the standard

 

a.         God wants us to live like we belong to him.

 

b.         Each one must control his own body honorably.

 

c.         Any reaching beyond this wrongs someone.

 

d.         The Lord is an avenger in all these things.

 

e.         Continuing in impurity is regarding God as of no account.
