                        “ZACCHAEUS...I MUST STAY AT YOUR HOUSE TODAY”

                                                                   Luke 19:1-10

 

1.                  If you have thought at any time during this series, “Why this house?”, consider it now.  Why is the “must” in this statement?  

 

2.                  How do each of the following details add to the significance of what happens here?

3.                  Why was Zacchaeus “seeking to see who Jesus was” (v. 3)?  Could it have something to do with the statements in 5:30; 7:34; 15:1 and 19:7?

 

4.                  In what ways did Zacchaeus demonstrate his hunger to know who Jesus was?  What obstacles did he overcome?

 

5.                  What message about Jesus did each of these details communicate to Zacchaeus?
